Take a look at how spectacular Ottawa High School’s prom turned out. As a special gift to our beloved students, we donated our space for their big night. Needless to say, they were incredibly grateful, and made everything look spectacular!
The Junior students decorated the building with navy blue and white decorations. Navy gossamer and twinkling lights hung from the ceiling, while white lighted trees lined the red carpet walkway students followed as they entered the building.
Guests began arriving at 7:30pm, arriving in style in an assortment of vehicles. We saw everything, from classic vintage, to police cars, and even a horse-drawn buggy! As students made their way into The Bottle House, we live-streamed their grand entrance on our Facebook and projected it on the 150″ projector screens that surrounded the dance floor. This was the perfect opportunity for students to watch their friends arrive, as well as a chance for community members who could not attend the event to see their friends and loved ones arrive on their big night.
Mirror centerpieces were set up on every table, with candles, lanterns, and white silk flowers reflecting in them. Our pallet wall was adorned with a moon and stars, and students lined up to get their photos taken with their friends and dates in front of the rustic backdrop.
Once all of the pictures were taken, students snacked on cheesecake, chocolate covered strawberries, and pinwheels, as well as popcorn provided by local favorite Maggie’s Popcorn. Punch and soda were served at our full bar to keep everyone’s thirst quenched as they danced the night away.
When the last song was played, students made their way to their big After Prom event at the community rec center. It was definitely a night they would not forget!
