The Willow Domestic Violence Center is doing incredible things in our community to help provide a safe haven from those suffering from domestic violence, and to promote awareness of the issue among community members of all ages.
It’s because of their incredible work that we felt so honored when they chose The Bottle House to host their most recent event: “Love Em Or Leave Em.” During this interactive, scenario-based activity, parents and teens discussed boundaries in teen relationships, and was followed by a round table discussion between the hosts and their participants.
With more than a dozen parents and teens in attendance, this event was a great success. The Willow Domestic Violence Center continues to host educational events just like this, in the hopes of teaching the entire community how to recognize the signs of domestic violence and get out of situations that may be dangerous to you and your loved ones.
